Here are answers to some of the most common questions we're asked here at d'scribes.
What type of stationery do you make?
We make any type of stationery from handmade invitations to print-ready newsletters, PDF invites for email recipients and anything funky like table plans, guest boards, bunting or even treasure boxes instead of favour boxes! We also create and supply bespoke 'Print Your Own Stationery' PDF packs with full instructions, should you need unlimited quantities or want the more personal touch of making your own stationery but have trouble with designing.
What can you offer?
We offer a totally bespoke service, which means we don't do 'off the peg', providing you with stationery and designs that make no compromises on what you want. Whatever your theme or special requests, we can help create your vision to stamp your style on your event and set the right tone for your guests, providing them with the information they need.
Can I get a FREE sample?
YES, we will send you a FREE NO OBLIGATION invitation sample set designed specifically for your event. We will contact you by email or telephone, following your initial enquiry and liaise with you to create the best design for you. Please bear in mind bespoke stationery is a very creative process and extra time is needed for creativity, design and sourcing the right materials for each unique project.
How do I start the ball rolling?
The best way to start the process is to contact us via the website at Free sample request where we will endeavour to reply within 48 hours, usually much sooner. How much does bespoke stationery cost?
Our pricing structure is POA as each set of stationery is different and uses different materials and products; however we aim to work closely in line with YOUR budget - just let us know what it is and we will endeavour to create a design within it. Due to the work involved in creating your personalised stationery, there is currently a minimum order value of £75 plus delivery.
When do I pay?
If you are happy with the design we have created for you, should you want us to make your stationery items, we ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your order at the prices offered; when your items are ready to be despatched, the balance will become due and your order will be shipped on receipt of final payment.
Is there a delivery charge?
We ship your completed orders using a guaranteed service to ensure you receive them in excellent condition and on time to any address in the UK. At present the charge is £10. You are free to request your own postal option, but ours is guaranteed and insured for damage. We deliver Nationwide. For delivery outside the UK P&P is POA. There is no delivery charge for samples.
